Hero Siege Season 10 Beginner Checklist: Stats, Companions and Quests
Starting a fresh character in Hero Siege Season 10 is much easier when you know what to prioritize. You do not need perfect gear or a complicated leveling route. The biggest time saves come from spending your attribute points correctly, using a useful companion, and knowing which quests are actually worth your time.
Here is a simple checklist for a smoother start.
1. How Should You Spend Attribute Points?
For most skill-based leveling builds, Intelligence and Vitality are the two attributes beginners should pay the most attention to.
Intelligence increases skill damage, making it the natural offensive stat for many caster and skill-focused builds. Vitality gives you a larger health pool and makes early progression more forgiving.
A good general rule is to put more points into Intelligence while keeping enough Vitality to avoid getting killed by ordinary packs or bosses. Several current Season 10 leveling builds use this approach, with examples around a 2:1 or similar INT/VIT split depending on the character.
Do not blindly copy another class's exact numbers, though. If your mana is constantly empty, Energy may be useful temporarily. If you are dying frequently, shift some points toward Vitality.
Simple rule: damage first, survivability second, and only add Energy when resource management actually becomes a problem.
2. Which Companion Should You Use?
Do not forget to equip a companion after starting your character.
The companion system is easy to overlook because it is not part of your normal equipment screen. Current Season 10 beginner guidance recommends having a companion equipped through the customization menu.
For a new player, the best companion is usually the one that provides useful combat support without forcing you to change your build. Prioritize bonuses that complement your character's damage type or improve survivability.
You do not need to spend a large amount of time searching for the perfect companion during the first few acts. Get one equipped, keep progressing, and replace it later when better options become available.
3. Which Early Quests Are Worth Doing?
Not every side quest deserves a detour.
During Act 1, completing side quests that are directly along your route is generally worthwhile because the extra experience can speed up early leveling. Current Season 10 leveling guides specifically recommend doing the early side quests when convenient.
The Coffee questline is another early priority. The resulting potion is particularly useful for leveling, so it is worth completing rather than skipping simply to save a few minutes.
Other side quests are more situational. If a quest sends you far away from your current route for a small reward, you can usually leave it for later.
4. What Can You Safely Skip?
The goal of an efficient starter is not to complete every objective.
Skip side quests when:
- They require a long backtrack
- The reward does not help your current build
- You are already overleveled for the next area
- Completing them would interrupt a fast campaign route
Main progression should remain your priority.
There are exceptions, however. Some early quests provide useful experience or valuable leveling items, so skipping everything is not faster in practice.
5. Your Simple S10 Opening Checklist
Before pushing deeper into the campaign, make sure you have:
- Assigned your attribute points
- Put most offensive points into your primary damage attribute
- Added enough Vitality to survive comfortably
- Equipped a companion
- Completed useful early side quests along your route
- Finished the Coffee questline
- Replaced obviously outdated equipment
- Kept useful resistances and Life on your gear
- Avoided unnecessary backtracking
Also keep an eye on your resources. Efficient early farming naturally builds up Hero Siege Gold, which becomes increasingly useful as your character develops.
6. Don't Waste Time Chasing Perfect Gear
Early leveling gear is temporary.
You do not need to spend your first few hours searching for perfect Satanic equipment. A strong Rare or Mythic item with the correct damage type, Life, resistances, or useful skill bonuses can be more than enough to keep moving.
Save the serious gear optimization for later. If you eventually decide to compare Hero Siege Items for sale, you will have a much better idea of what your character actually needs after reaching the higher-level content.
The fastest beginner route is surprisingly simple: follow the campaign, spend attributes according to your build, keep enough Vitality to stay alive, equip a companion, complete useful quests that are already on your route, and skip unnecessary detours.
You can always return for unfinished side content later. Your first goal should be reaching the point where your character has enough levels, gear, and knowledge to start farming efficiently.
